Safety & Operation Guidelines
At Around Town Bounce, the safety and happiness of your guests is everything to us! We've put together these simple guidelines to ensure everyone has the most fun and safest experience possible. Please take a moment to review them before your event — a little preparation goes a long way toward a fantastic day!
👀 Supervision
We ask that a responsible adult be present and attentive at all times while the bounce house is inflated and in use. Having at least one dedicated adult supervisor on hand ensures the fun stays safe and the good times keep rolling! Please never leave the unit unattended while it is inflated or in use.
👟 Before Entering the Bounce House
A little prep before jumping in goes a long way toward keeping everyone safe and having a great time! Please make sure all bouncers follow these simple steps before entering:
- Remove shoes and leave all footwear outside the unit
- Empty pockets of any loose items before bouncing
- Remove eyeglasses, jewelry, and any hard or sharp objects
- Leave food and beverages outside — no food or drinks inside the bounce house at any time
🤸 Safe Bouncing Guidelines
To keep the fun going strong for everyone, please encourage all guests to follow these bouncing best practices:
- Group bouncers by age and size to keep the play fair and safe for everyone. The bounce house is recommended for children ages 3 and up. No pets, please!
- No flips, wrestling, or roughhousing — we want everyone on their feet and having fun!
- No laying down while others are jumping, as this can result in serious injury
- No running or jumping against the walls, support pillars, or through the entrance of the bounce house
- No climbing or hanging on any interior or exterior surface of the unit
- Enter and exit safely — we recommend all bouncers enter and exit in a seated position for maximum safety
⛅ Weather & Emergency Procedures
Safety always comes first, especially when Mother Nature has other plans! Please keep a close eye on weather conditions throughout your event and follow these important guidelines:
- High winds, rain, or storms: Please have all bouncers exit the unit immediately. The jumping surface can become very slippery when wet, and high winds can affect the stability of the unit. Once empty, turn the blower motor to the OFF position and unplug it. If it is raining, please move the blower to a sheltered area to protect it.
- Lightning or severe weather: Evacuate the unit immediately and seek shelter until conditions are completely clear.
- Loss of air: If the bounce house begins to lose air for any reason, please have everyone exit the unit immediately and give us a call right away — we'll make sure it's taken care of!
🏡 Underground Utilities
We want to make sure your setup goes as smoothly as possible! Prior to delivery, please identify your desired setup location and have any underground utility lines — including electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and any other underground devices — clearly marked. Around Town Bounce is not responsible for any damage to underground utilities in the setup area, so a quick check beforehand ensures a smooth and worry-free setup for everyone!
By following these simple guidelines, you're helping us ensure that every guest — especially the little ones — has the safest and most memorable experience possible. Thank you for being an amazing host and for choosing Around Town Bounce — we can't wait to be part of your celebration! 🎉
